Addressing a packed convention hall at the American Farm Bureau (AFBF) convention last week in San Antonio, AFBF President Zippy Duvall implored Farm Bureau members to step up their engagement to achieve the organization’s key policy goals in 2025.

Farm Bureau members sent more than 50,000 contacts to Congress and federal agencies in support of AFBF policies last year, Duvall noted, adding that he wants to see that number grow even more this year.

“I’m really, really proud of your engagement, but we’ve got to build on that because we’re going to need everybody stepping up in 2025,” he said, highlighting the convention’s theme, “Step Up, Drive Forward.”

“We are still focused on the finish line with several other top issues,” Duvall said.
