Corn acres down, soybean acres up
While lower than last year, corn acres come in above USDA's March planting estimate.

The annual planted acres report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimated 91.5 million acres were planted to corn this year and 86.1 million acres planted to soybeans nationally. 

Compared to the USDA's Perspective Plantings report in March, corn acres rose slightly from an estimate of 90 million, and beans lost a little from an estimate of 86.5 million.
