Pork sales to California resume

Seaboard Foods, the second-biggest U.S. pig producer, said last week it will resume shipments of fresh pork to California after a state court delayed enforcement of Proposition 12, Reuters reported.
The measure, which took effect on Jan. 1, forbid the sale of pork, eggs or veal from animals raised on farms which don’t meet arbitrary pen size standards.
Seaboard in December said it would stop selling certain whole pork products into California because of Prop 12.
