Fighting for the American farmer
President Donald Trump said his administration is "fighting for the American farmer" by negotiating better trade deals, rolling back regulations, cutting taxes and boosting renewable fuels usage in a speech last week at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s (AFBF) 100th annual convention in New Orleans.
"The future of the American farmer is bigger, brighter and bolder than ever before," Trump proclaimed, drawing a standing ovation from some 6,000 Farm Bureau members at the convention’s closing general session.
