As of Wednesday, July 8, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $2.12 across Iowa according to AAA. Prices rose $.02 from last week’s price and $.44 lower than one year ago. The national average on Wednesday was $2.18, with no change from last week’s price.

As of Wednesday, July 1, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $2.10 across Iowa according to AAA. Prices rose $.02 from last week’s price and $.47 lower than one year ago. The national average on Wednesday was $2.18 up $.02 from last week’s price.

Reynolds signed legislation into law to lower taxes on renewable fuels

The governor also announced an additional $7 million in funding, through the federal CARES act, for the Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program. This state program offers cost-share dollars to fuel retailers who install or convert their equipment to allow the expanded use of renewable fuels in Iowa.
