Iowa Farm Bureau delegates successfully included policy language during the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) annual policy session last week in Austin, Texas, designed to help ensure that federal agencies follow required processes and procedures when they implement regulations affecting agriculture. 

The AFBF delegates also backed Iowa language in several other key areas, including:

• A policy to better identify rural areas underserved by broadband providers and to prioritize those areas in programs designed to increase internet connectivity.
