Maybe it’s just the warmer weather, but I’m detecting a bit of a thaw recently in the political outlook for agricultural exports. If that view is on track and the trade outlook does improve, it would be a huge relief for farmers looking for robust export demand to trim the country’s price-depressing stockpiles.
