“There’s been too much rain in Marshall’s region the past few weeks. “Right here I had 4 inches last Saturday ... picked up another half inch Monday ... had 2.5 inches the week before,” he said July 10. Despite muddy fields, crops look good. Corn has started tasseling, and beans are starting to flower. Little disease or pest pressures have been reported. With the rain, weed pressure in beans is expected.”
