Corn and soybean prices this year are expected to remain strong, though lower than 2021 prices, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said last week during its annual Agricultural Outlook Forum. 

USDA Chief Economist Seth Meyer pegged season average corn prices at $5 for 2022, down 8% from 2021, while setting the average price of soybeans at $12.75, down about 2% from last year.
