Protecting conservation efforts, tax issues, renewable fuels blending levels and potential changes to the Navigable Waters Protection Rule (NWPR) led the list of concerns that members of the 2021 Iowa Farm Bureau Ag Leaders Institute outlined to legislators and administration officials last week during their trip to Washington D.C.

“We have more knowledge of how to take care of our ground than anyone here in Washington,” Dickinson County Farm Bureau member Emily Boettcher said during a visit to Rep. Randy Feenstra’s office. “It is important to us that these programs stay voluntary.”
