Verbio adds ethanol to Nevada plant

The German-owned plant started producing renewable natural gas in Iowa in 2021.

After a successful rollout of renewable natural gas (RNG) processing in 2021, the Nevada Verbio plant last week announced the addition of corn-based ethanol production. The plant now has a capacity of 60 million gallons of ethanol per year and 2.3 million metric BTUs of RNG per year.
