E15, biodiesel set records in 2023

E15 sales in Iowa increased 47% to a record 178 million gallons in 2023, according to the Retailers Motor Fuel Gallons annual report from the Iowa Department of Revenue. 

For the first time, E15 sales accounted for more than 10% of Iowa gasoline sales in 2023, hitting 13.3%. One in four Iowa fuel stations offers E15.
