Farm Bureau members will focus on protecting property taxpayers, enhancing landowner rights and modernizing the state’s Grain Indemnity Fund.

Iowa Farm Bureau members will maintain their focus on protecting property taxpayers during the 2024 Iowa legislative session, which began Jan. 8. Members will also continue working to enhance the rights of landowners who are affected by large infrastructure projects, such as transmission lines and pipelines, and engage with lawmakers to modernize Iowa’s Grain Indemnity Fund to adequately protect farmers affected by a grain elevator failure.
