Win Prizes Totaling $6,500 and Free Fair Food

Fairgoers to the 2025 Iowa State Fair are invited to visit Farm Bureau Park to meet some of Iowa’s G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) farmers and learn how they grow the food, fuel and fiber that touch our lives daily, while also ranking #1 in nine key conservation practices.  Farm Bureau Park visitors have a chance to win prizes totaling more than $6,500 and play Iowa Farm Bureau’s “Pulling for Iowa Farmers Pull-Tab Giveaway” to win free state fair food.

Located next to the Varied Industries Building, Farm Bureau Park is open 9 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. each day, Aug. 7-17, where fairgoers can play free games to win some great prizes, take part in free health screenings and register to win hundreds of dollars in other great giveaways. Fairgoers can show support for Iowa farmers by playing the “Pulling for Iowa Farmers Pull-Tab Giveaway,” for a chance to win free classic state fair food items, including a porkchop on a stick, turkey leg, cheeseburger or ice cream cone, all made possible by Iowa farmers.

Iowa Farm Bureau members can register for a chance to win $5,000 in food and fuel, and everyone can take the Farm Bureau Member Benefits Challenge on a smart phone for a chance to win $500 in free groceries.  Fairgoers who sign up to join Iowa Farm Bureau at Farm Bureau Park receive a $10 Fareway gift card and are entered into a drawing for a chance to win $1,000 in food and fuel.  Visitors to Farm Bureau Park are invited to play the FarmStrong Challenge to win a choice of great prizes and learn how Iowa farmers lead the way in production and conservation.

The Farm Bureau Financial Services (FBFS) tent, in the southeast corner of Farm Bureau Park, welcomes fairgoers to learn how safe driving habits could qualify you for auto insurance premium savings.  The Iowa Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau "Seat Belt Convincer" will be in Farm Bureau Park, where fairgoers experience the impact of a 5 to 10 mph crash, underscoring the importance of wearing seat belts even at lower speeds.  Fairgoers can also play the “Guess the Number” game at the FBFS Tent for a chance to win a $500 daily grocery giveaway.

“We look forward to hosting fairgoers at Farm Bureau Park to share how Iowa farmers are national leaders in production and conservation,” said Brent Johnson, Iowa Farm Bureau president. “We are proud to showcase Iowa farm families as we celebrate their work to grow our food, fuel and fiber and work to protect our soil and water through conservation efforts.”
