Farm Bureau applauded congressional approval of a continuing resolution last week that includes a one-year extension of the 2018 Farm Bill, ensuring the normal operation of existing farm programs for the 2024 crop year. 

However, Farm Bureau and other ag groups urged lawmakers to complete a full reauthorization of a long-term farm bill as soon as possible in order to provide farmers and others certainty regarding the future of ag and food policies.
