What potential trade deals could mean for U.S. agriculture
President Donald Trump continued to make progress in recent weeks on getting new trade agreements signed with countries around the globe, as his self-imposed deadline for reciprocal tariff reprieve looms just ahead. Most recently, the president and his trade team have announced deals with the United Kingdom, China and Vietnam, while talks with Japan and India are ongoing.
As it pertains to agriculture, obviously China is the big one, as there is no country in the world that can replace the Asian nation’s import demand.
