Farm Bureau members from all over Iowa participated in conference calls with Iowa legislators last week to build support for the organization’s key issues, which were developed by members through the grassroots policy development process.

During the conference calls, Farm Bureau members urged lawmakers to support the state’s critical biofuels industry by implementing an E10 standard in Iowa. Members also urged legislators to reduce inequities in mental health funding by shifting costs of those programs to the state budget and away from property taxes.
