According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Sept. 30 grain stock report, old crop soybeans stored in all positions on Sept. 1 totaled 913 million bushels, up 108% from the same date last year.

Soybean stocks stored on farms totaled 265 million bushels, up 162% from a year ago.

The USDA also noted old crop corn stocks in all positions on Sept. 1 totaled 2.11 billion bushels, down 1% from Sept. 1, 2018.
