Beef Council joins CSIF

The Iowa Beef Industry Coun­­cil (IBIC) recently joined the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers (CSIF) as its ninth member organization.

The IBIC’s investment in the coalition will be funded through the 50-cent-per-head collection of the Iowa state beef checkoff, which began in March, according to Chris Freland, executive director of the Iowa Beef Industry Council.
