WASDE data supports beans, pressures corn

Updated balance sheets were surprising for the corn complex with higher production and ending stocks than traders were expecting.
The average U.S. corn yield increased slightly to 168.2 bushels per acre, while a reduction had been anticipated. Harvested acres declined 200,000, but this was still enough to give the U.S. 13.8 billion bushels of expected production.
