Both pork and beef exports from the U.S. are poised to set records in 2020 or 2021, with pork especially experiencing sustained growth during this time, U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) officials said last week at the organization’s annual Strategic Planning Conference.

Estimated total U.S. exports of pork for 2020 are expected at 2.99 million metric tons, a 12% increase over last year, according to data collected by the USMEF.
