The U.S./China tariff fight has prompted the world’s top soybean importer to look for replacement supplies in South America. As a result of increased Chinese interest in soybeans from the Southern Hemisphere, prices for the oilseed have plummeted in the U.S. while skyrocketing for exporters in Brazil and Argentina.
