The United States and China have agreed to scale back import tariffs for 90 days after a meeting of top trade officials from the two countries in Switzerland. 

The countries agreed to reduce reciprocal tariffs imposed after April 2 by 115% during the 90-day pause, according to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who negotiated terms along with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.
