Harvest season is coming quick and with it manure application. This year we are going to do something a little different, so with all respect to David Letterman, here is a “top 10” list for using your manure. (That’s a list you don’t want to get behind.)

So without further ado, let’s get to it.

1. Biosecurity: In recent years, we’ve dealt with cases of PEDV and avian influenza. In both cases, manure can be a significant risk in the transmission of these and other diseases.
