Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds raised her concerns last week that a trade war with China could have serious long-term ramifications for Iowa farmers.

“No one wins in a trade war,” Reynolds said during her weekly press conference, where she was flanked by a group of agricultural leaders including Iowa Farm Bureau President Craig Hill. “While some disruption may be necessary and part of the negotiation process, we know that this absolutely can’t be done on the backs of Iowa farmers.”
