April WASDE report surprises many
Corn and soybean prices slipped after higher than expected stocks.

Last week’s World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) included mixed news for corn stocks, with a slight increase in U.S. corn usage for feed and for ethanol production that resulted in a 50-million-bushel increase to total usage and bringing total use to 14.605 billion bushels.
