China turns to Argentina soy
Significant purchases made after the South American nation lowered export taxes.
Chinese importers snapped up several cargoes of Argentine soybeans after the South American country temporarily abolished its export taxes to make its prices competitive globally, Reuters reported last week.
Chinese buyers booked about 20 cargoes, or roughly 1.3 million tons of Argentinian soybeans after Argentina lifted its tax on Sept. 22.
