Farm Bureau members applauded the Iowa Legislature and Gov. Kim Reynolds for enacting property tax reforms and protections during the 2023 session, which concluded last week. 

“Farm Bureau thanks Gov. Reynolds and legislators for continuing to work to protect property taxpayers,” said Brent Johnson, a Calhoun County farmer and president of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation. “Our members from across Iowa have clearly identified property taxpayer protections as a key focus. It’s important that legislators continue to look for ways to ease the burden on property taxpayers.”
