As of June 23, the planting pace on U.S. crops was 96% for corn and 85% on soybeans. This leaves roughly 4 million corn and 13 million soybean acres to seed, according to the acreage totals from the June WASDE report. These are highly contestable, though, as the likelihood of additional prevent plant acres is clouding total acreage.
