The Iowa-based Summit Group plans to build a large-scale corn ethanol plant in Brazil, CEO Bruce Rastetter said last week at the Farm Progress Show.

The $140 million project will be located near Lucas do Rio Verde in Mato Grosso, producing 50 million gallons of ethanol annually.
