For those concerned that electric cars will soon dominate the roads and will make ethanol obsolete, John Eichberger has some advice: Stay calm.

While electric cars, such as Teslas, get miles of media attention and are the darlings of Silicon Valley, they are a long way from being compelling for the vast majority of consumers today, said Eichberger, executive director of the Fuels Institute, who spoke recently at the 2019 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit in Altoona. ...
