Gym-N-Eat Crickets and owner Shelby Smith of Story County took home $7,500 from the first Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) Grow Your Future contest, held Feb. 1, at the 2020 Young Farmer Conference in Altoona. 

The second place award of $5,000 went to the New Day Dairy Guest Barn Bed & Breakfast and owners Dan and Lynn Bolin of Butler County. The third place award of $2,500 was awarded to McGreal Family Farm and Jake McGreal and Lara Mangialardi of Clayton County.
