During the 2018 session of the Iowa Legislature, which started Jan. 8, Farm Bureau will work to secure long-term, dedicated state funding to support farmers’ efforts to improve water quality and conserve soil. The organization will also work with legislators as they look to reform Iowa’s tax code, protect the state’s property taxpayers, prioritize resources to improve Iowa’s current parks and public lands and address other issues important to members.
