Biofuel supporters were al­­armed last week by an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposal to extend deadlines for oil refiners to meet their biofuel blending obligations for the past three years.

The 2019 extension applies only to small refineries, but the extension for 2020 and 2021 applies to all refineries.
