China’s agriculture ministry last week gave the green light to imports of five new biotech crop traits, including a long-awaited approval of Enlist E3 soybeans.

The approvals, the first biotech traits to be cleared by China in more than 18 months, were announced while a U.S. trade delegation was in China to discuss resolution of trade issues between the two countries.
