Corn demand bright spot amid massive crop potential
As the old saying goes, low prices are often the best cure for low prices, and this has held true again this year, at least to some extent.
Though the market hasn’t exactly responded so far from a price standpoint due to the looming potentially record harvest, U.S. corn demand through the summer has been good and has been one of the lone bright spots amid what has been an otherwise pretty discouraging year from a marketing standpoint.
While price declines were chided by farmers all throughout the season, they were cheered by global buyers and domestic end users, who have turned back to U.S. supplies over the course of the last two years...
