Five years ago, Charlie Good, owner and operator of Good & Quick in Nevada, upgraded the gas pumps at his convenience store.

“While I was at it, I added E15, biodiesel, E20, E30 and E85,” Good said. “I checked into a grant and got it to pay for the additional upgrades.”

The Iowa Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program offers cost-share grants for the installation of E85 dispensers, blender pumps, biodiesel dispensers and biodiesel storage facilities. The grant program is managed by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
