Charlie Good, the owner and operator of Good & Quick in Nevada, Iowa, has been relentless in educating his customers on renewable fuels and promoting consumer choice at the gas pump.

Five years ago, Charlie Good, owner and operator of Good & Quick in Nevada, upgraded the gas pumps at his convenience store.

“While I was at it, I added E15, biodiesel, E20, E30 and E85,” Good said. “I checked into a grant and got it to pay for the additional upgrades.”

The Iowa Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program offers cost-share grants for the installation of E85 dispensers, blender pumps, biodiesel dispensers and biodiesel storage facilities. The grant program is managed by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
