Erika Lundy, ISU Extension Beef Specialist
This webinar will include results from an Iowa project designed to identify costs, environmental impacts, and best practices in three cow-calf systems: limit grazed, traditional and extended grazed systems. The research included 28 Iowa producer cooperators with real data on production costs, forage quality, feeds and rations and soil samples. The webinar will include research findings, best management practices, keys to profitability in each system and opportunities and challenges of the systems studied.
The webinar will provide the opportunity for participants to ask questions.
