USDA outlines rules on prevent planting
Rains that have severely de–layed corn and soybean planting have left many farmers in Iowa and other Corn Belt states with a flood of questions on how unplanted acres would be treated in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) $16 billion Market Facilitation Program (MFP) and the recently signed disaster bill, which allocated $3 billion to aid agriculture.
