USDA extends crop insurance deadline

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is reinstating prevented planting buy-up coverage and offering farmers a 60-day extension to pay their crop insurance premiums this year, U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced last week at Minnesota Farmfest.
