Now it’s a great time for farmers to break out of their “ag bubble” and tell their sustainability success stories to consumers around the country and all over the world, according to a panel of farmers at the American Farm Bureau Federation convention earlier this month in Atlanta.

Farmers, the panel members said, have great sustainability stories to tell, and by communicating with the public, they can: 

• Help consumers, who are often far removed from agriculture, see the continual progress farmers are making in reducing their environmental footprint.
