The September U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) supply and demand report contained few surprises for corn on the domestic side.

The U.S. average corn yield is now estimated at 178.5 bushels per acre and the crop size at 14.9 billion bushels. While down from August, these declines were right in line with trade estimates.
