The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) has launched a photo contest for Farm Bureau members to generate photos for a calendar celebrating the organization’s centennial celebration in 2018.

The photo contest, which begins February 1 and lasts through August 1, will help IFBF show off the people who share a passion for agriculture and for the beauty of Iowa, said Tim Niess, IFBF field service manager. "We are looking for photos that reflect this strength: the many faces of Farm Bureau," he said.

Submitted photos must be taken by the member and will be judged in six categories: spring/summer, fall/winter, celebrations, generations/family, community and youth. The youth category is limited to entrants 18 and younger. Photos will be judged by an IFBF staff committee, and first and second place winners will be chosen from each category. First place winners will receive $100 and a 2018 Centennial calendar, the second place winners will receive $50 and a calendar.
