New Nitrogen Rate Trials Getting Underway Across Iowa

Iowa State University and Premier Crop Systems are working to organize new and expanded corn nitrogen rate trials with farmers across Iowa. The effort is part of an initiative to dramatically increase the number of rate trials across Iowa and provide more robust information back to farmers to assist with fertility decisions.
The majority of trials for 2022 have already been lined up, but ISU expects to continue recruiting additional farmers in future years, with the goal being to have at least 400 rate trials per year as the effort expands. There's the possibility that there's still room in the 2022 trials for more farmers to participate, but the timing window is rapidly closing.
