The latest battleground in the fight against restrictive state laws mandating how out-of-state livestock are raised is in Massachusetts.

Last week, a group of Midwest hog producers filed a federal suit to block Massachusetts’ state law, called Question 3 (Q3), from going into effect in August. 

Triumph Foods, based in St. Joseph, Missouri, is the lead plaintiff on the suit.
