Iowa's weather trends uncertain as winter nears
A dry growing season and continued La Nina conditions in the Pacific Ocean mean an uncertain winter and spring 2022 in Iowa.
A November through February weather outlook published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) forecasts that most of the state has a nearly equal chance of being either warmer or cooler than average, and an equal chance of being wetter or drier than normal.
