Warmer temperatures in the forecast should help finish off the crop, Rosburg said Sept. 12. “Our late-planted corn is finally starting to dent. It’s still got a ways to go before black layer,” he said. Early-planted soybeans are turning color. Some farmers are finished chopping silage, and others are just starting. “Planes have been going, getting cover crops planted,” he added.
