“Johnson missed damaging winds at his farm last week and got about 1.5 inches of rain out of the storms. He reported flattened corn and a damaged grain bin south of his farm. “Fungicide seems to be wrapped up. I haven’t heard a plane in a few days,” Johnson said Aug. 1. Beyond crops, he was cleaning out his hog barn ahead of the delivery of a new herd this week.
