“We had a surprise shower that came through yesterday and gave us between 0.4 and 0.5 inch of rain,” Hofland said July 27. “I’m really thankful for where we’re at. Stuff looks good.” Soybeans are forming pods, and alfalfa regrowth is good. “We got all our fungicides sprayed. We sprayed for corn beetle borers but didn’t put insecticide on beans.
