"We’re kind of getting just enough small rains to keep things going here,” Fehr said June 22. Most fields look good and have a dark, green color, he said. However, late-planted soybeans are still showing some stress. Fertilizer side-dressing is mostly wrapped up, and area farmers have are finishing up post-emerge herbicides on soybeans, Fehr said. Some farmers are starting to apply fungicides.
